“The Water Upanishad”
Oh, the ubiquitous water ! unto thee I prostrate.
Oh, the creation’s first chemical ! unto thee I prostrate.
Oh, the shapeless water ! unto thee I prostrate !
In the sky, thou art inherent, water.
In the air, thou art inherent, water.
In the soil, thou art inherent, water.
In and out of the earth, thou art inherent, water.
I heartly greet unto thee, water .
Oh water, who gave birth unto the foremost creature, ’twas thee.
Oh water, who gave satiaty unto the foremost creature, ’twas thee.
Oh water, who gave vigor unto the foremost creature, ’twas thee.
Oh water, who gave organs unto the foremost creature, ’twas thee.
Oh water, who gave motion unto the foremost creature, ’twas thee.
Oh water, who gave sense unto the foremost creature, ’twas thee.
Oh water, who gave seperation unto the foremost creature, ’twas thee.
Oh water, thou the creation’s foremost artist- I bend before thee.
Hey water, unto the creature unto the earth, thou did send.
Hey water, unto the sense unto the earth, thou did send.
Hey water, unto the world into the audio, thou did send.
Hey water, unto the view into the vision, thou did send.
Hey water, unto the fragrance into the nose, thou did send.
Hey water, unto the touch into the skin, thou did send.
Hey water, thou art astonishment, I fall at feet of thee.
Oh water, into each and every mocules of the creation inherent, thee and thee.
Oh water, into each and every cell of the aquatics inherent, thee and thee.
Oh water, into the land , air and sky inherent, thee and thee.
Heartily unto you I extend my respect, water !
O water, the mist, fog, cloud, pleasure, all ’tis thee.
O water, the atom, splatter, drop, pleasure, all ’tis thee.
O water, the streams, falls, pleasure, all ’tis thee.
O water, the monsoon, rain, hailstone, pleasure, all ’tis thee.
O water, the lake, river, tributary, pleasure, all ’tis thee.
O water, sea, ocean, pleasure, all ’tis thee.
O water, beauty thou art, mine respect to thee.
’tis thee who’s snow, water.
’tis thee who’s Ganga, Mekong, Amezon, Mississipi, water .
’tis thee who’s holicity, water.
’tis thee who’s the universe, water.
’tis thee who’s solid, liquid and gas, water.
’tis thee who’s mystery, I just honor thee, water.
’tis thee who’s wonderment, I just honor thee, water.
Water, O water ! To the stone, thou could melth.
Water, O water ! To the iron, thou could thawth.
Water, O water ! To the gold, thou could flowth.
Water, O water ! Thou art power, energy thou art.
Water, O water ! Eternity thou art.
Water, O water ! Cordially I honor thee.
Water, hey water ! There ain’t soil at all if not existh thee.
Water, hey water ! There ain’t plant at all if not existh thee.
Water, hey water ! There ain’t creature at all if not existh thee.
Water, hey water ! There ain’t life-cycle at all if not existh thee.
Water, hey water ! There ain’t nothing at all if not existh thee.
Water, hey water ! honorably I prostrate thee.
O water, every one of lives thee-containing
O water, the entire of the world thee-containing.
O water, ’tis me who bow before thee.
Water ! May I not chide thee.
Water ! May I not pollute thee.
Water ! May I esteem thee.
Water ! May I venerate thee.
Hey water, water ! Of thy murmur, may I know.
Hey water, water ! Of thy drop-dripping, may I know.
Hey water, water ! Of thy ceaseless-sound, may I know.
Hey water, water ! Of thy OM, may I know.
May I know how to thee behave, water.
May I know how to thee converse, water.
May I know how to thee befriend, water.
May I know how to thee love, water.

Hey water thou art the truth ’tis
Hey ! Thou art the conscience ’tis.
Hey ! Thou art the bliss ’tis.
Hey ! Thou art the sound ’tis.
Hey ! Thou art the light ’tis.
Hey ! Thou art the bliss ’tis.
Hey ! Thou art the truth ’tis.
Hey ! may I know to assimilate unto thee.
Energetic thou art, water, I wish – may I not resist thee.
Medicinal thou art, water, I wish – may not resist thee.
Glorious thou art, water, I wish – may I not deceive thee.
Significant thou art, water, I wish – may I not hurt thee.
Let me bath, O water, by virtue of thee.
Let me drink, O water, by virtue of thee.
Let me be made purify, O water, by virtue of thee.
I’d prostrate ever, O water, unto thee.
Water into the apt time- thou come
Water, into the apt ‘mount- thou come.
Water, according to the peasant calling – thou come.
Unto thee, I’d prostrate ever, O water.
When thou art got contaminated, water, ashamed may I be.
When thou art got polluted, water, shamefaced may I be.
Mixed water just with water, water may I see.
Onto my double palms, May I lift up onto thee.
O water, please, the secretive – not be thee.
O water, please, the passive – not be thee.
O water, please, the furious – not be thee.
O water, please, the cruel – not be thee.
O water, please, the pang – not be thee.
O water, please, the pleased – be thee.
Hey water, unto the aquatic-lives get pleased by thee – may I see
Hey water, unto the land-lives get pleased by thee – may I see.
Hey water, unto the birds get pleased by thee – may I see
I wish, hey water, thou be safe ever.
Let thee never be exploited , Oh water.
Let thee never be disrespected, Oh water.
Let thee never be virtue-confiscated, Of water.
Let thee never be abducted, Oh water.
Forever smiling, forever thou be, Oh water.
I wish extend my honor unto thee, Oh water.
The very who hits stone into water, may they be cursed.
The very who throws poison into water, may they be cursed.
The very who throws dirt into water, may they be cursed.
May thou not drop tears due to human deeds, water.
May thou not afflict due to human deeds, water.
May thou not divert thy rout due to human deeds, water.
May thy cycle save the world life cycle, water.
May thy desire save the creature’s desire, water.
May human attain good-wit, water.
’tis me to respect unto thee, water.
Water, May I be constantly in closeness of thee.
